Jewelry Sizing, Care and Maintenance

HOW TO SELECT YOUR SIZE

Size options are noted in a drop down box for appropriate products. If you have questions, call (360) 701-5203. You can include comments at checkout on the “Order Confirmation Page”, if you need to clarify something.

MAGNETIC BRACELETS

Stainless or Hematite Bracelet: add ½”-3/4” to actual wrist measurement (measure snugly where wrist meets arm with a soft tape measure). Use this number to order the appropriate size range at checkout. Copper Magnetic Bracelet is normally a bendable cuff. Measure your wrist snugly and select a size that is closest to this measurement (usually within 1”). Styles are only available in S/M or M/L, so select appropriately.

MAGNETIC ANKLE BRACELETS

Stainless and Hematite Anklets can be worn either above the inner ankle bone or just below it. Sometimes it is easiest to use a light chain or string and position it as follows:

If you will wear it under socks and/or wear closed heel shoes, measure 3/4″ ABOVE the most prominent part of the inner ankle bone. This is your finished measurement. Do not add anything extra to this measurement; gravity makes it drop down on the ankle.

If you wish to wear it below the inner ankle bone, lay a chain/string in the area just below the most prominent part of the inner ankle bone (let it rest “on” the outer ankle bone” …this is your “order” size range.

MAGNETIC NECKLACES

Stainless Necklaces lay best at or below the hollow at the base of your neck (they have a curvature in them, so that the magnet can sit flat on your body). Select the appropriate length in the drop down box. Hematite Magnetic Necklaces can be any length you desire. Select your desired length in the drop down box.

JEWELRY CARE

All STAINLESS and COPPER magnetic products may be worn in all conditions including the water. All people are different and some have higher levels of body acids and can break down the protective epoxy seal over the magnets. Check the seal every month or so and if you notice some break down simply smooth it out and re-coat with some clear finger nail polish or superglue. With proper maintenance the magnets will not rust and will remain strong for years. The copper cuff, if bent often where the magnets are can cause them to fall out.

The HEMATITE magnetic products have clasps that can rust if allowed to get wet. Dry off thoroughly if you get them wet. When you remove them it is best to separate both sides of the magnetic clasp by pulling or torquing the clasp to separate it instead of pulling on the magnetic jewelry piece.
